Alkazzi culture of "Quality Awareness" to ensure customer satisfaction, has been integral to the company´s success since the earliest and darkest days during the 80 ´s
During this year, Alkazzi took its ˝Quality Awareness˝ philosophy one-step forward. Hence, a fully equipped laboratory was implemented to control the quality of products and to develop a deeper understanding of the chemical and biological composition of nuts.
Accordingly, we established two departments "Quality Control” & “Food Safety”. These departments are responsible for establishing and implementing Alkazzi quality and safety standards; in compliance with national and international norms over whole production processes of every Alkazzi product..

- Specifications for each kind of raw materials (in terms of: sizes, varieties, chemical and physical quality…) are established by Al Kazzi Quality & Food Safety departments, taking into consideration the company’s vision and strategy. Such specifications comply outstandingly with Lebanese as well as international standards. As a result, Al Kazzi superbly chooses the best raw materials from the country of origin.
- Al-Kazzi production is entirely mechanized preventing the handling of products by any employee during the entire production process and assuring the safety of nuts.
- Al Kazzi laboratories carry out all necessary analysis & studies in order to determine the shelf life of each product, before launching it in the market; at the same time, controlling it in the market.
- The Quality Control & Food Safety departments ensure a convenient and effective training for every member of Al-kazzi team to assure and maintain the implementation of Alkazzi’s quality and safety systems
Technological Superiority for Better Production Value
Al-Kazzi thrives to produce a local product that complies with high international standards. This is achieved through a unique production process that utilizes state-of-the-art equipment among other variables providing confidence in the product and satisfies customer requirements. This production process involves:
1) Optimal storage of raw material: based on surveys and practical researches both quality & safety departments established for each kind of products the appropriate conditions in terms of temperature, humidity, ventilation, etc…,. For proper quality and safety retention, these storage areas are under stringent monitoring system through the most advanced electronic technologies
2) Use of advanced technology: Controls accompany each and every stage of the production process. This supervision assures the conformity of Al Kazzi products to adopted quality and food safety standards.
3) Use of up-to-date packing technology: Intensive research is continuously expedited on superlative packaging technology that guarantees the quality and safety of Al Kazzi nuts during their shelf life.
Revolutionizing Dry and Air Roasting
In a persistent attempt to improve our products, in the process upping the prestige of the Lebanese industry, Al-kazzi succeeded in putting in place a Unique Dry Roasting Technique that avoids frying and the usage of hydrogenated/partially hydrogenated oils or any other unhealthy additives.
It is a fact that when oil is exposed to high temperature for long time, it becomes unhealthy and damaged. Thus, Al-Kazzi roasts its nuts at a specific temperature and for a specific period of time so as to conserve the nutritional value in every nut, as much as possible. Therefore, our nuts remain cholesterol free and based on several analysis achieved by accredited laboratories the good oil (unsaturated) are preserved without any considerable addition of harmful oils (saturated and trans fat).

ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System
Al-Kazzi trading S.A.L, is one of the leaders in manufacturing high quality Lebanese roasted nuts.
Hence, we aim maintaining our position through using a unique air dry roasting technique, also ensuring our products safety besides our great concern in fulfilling consumer satisfaction in term of quality. As a matter of fact, we designed and implemented our Al-Kazzi system that complies with the Lebanese standards (Libnor) and the international standard (ISO 22000:2005).
